Add authors to Wikispaces or Blogger

I had a wonderful time last week with 15 dedicated teachers who learned about a whole bunch of Web 2.0 applications.

Today I received an email from one of the participants who could not remember how to add authors or editors to her wikispace and her blog. I created a quick video using the Jing Project which I am embedding here to answer that question for others who may be wondering how to do that.

I have a question. So on blogspot, when you send an email. Does the person you emailed need to have a blogspot account and then they can automatically contribute on the blog?

Also, does that author have the power to edit other posts or change settings?

Thanks very much

Anyone you invite will have to have a Google account. I think Blogger will walk them through that process automatically when they join your blog. Also, authors can only edit their own posts with the exception of the Alpha-editor: the blog administrator I think is their "official" title. They can edit and delete EVERY post no matter who created it.

You can check Blogger's Help section for more info.
