Tim has been my mentor throughout this process. We have spoken via Skype or telephone a few times, have emailed each other on numerous occasions, and even collaborated in Google Docs. I am so grateful for his willingness to help this "newbie" to the world of mathcasting.

I've been trying to use more mathcasts in my classroom. A couple of weeks ago I even went as far as to have students watch the mathcasts as homework (on our class website or a DVD) and work on the content in class instead of having a worksheet for homework. It seemed effective for some students.

I plan to use your site as an example or model for the teachers who attend my MACUL session. I notice you put your videos on Vimeo. Are there advantages Vimeo has over other sites (like, perhaps, not being blocked by school filters?)?
